Ingredients

  • fried breadcrumbs 230 gr., 
  • eggs 2 +5, 
  • cottage cheese 1 kg and 135 grams 
  • sugar 350 grams 
  • flour 25 gr., 
  • grated zest of one lemon, 
  • vanilla 5 grams 
  • cream 65 gr.
 

Preparation

The cheesecake is a classic dessert that dates back to ancient Greece. It usually prepare the crust, cream cheese, which differ from country to country. America uses cream cheese (like Philadelphia), uses ricotta in Italy and in Germany the quark. You can choose what kind of cheese you want to prepare this cheesecake if you think Philadelphia is too expensive.
Separate two eggs whites and yolks. Mix breadcrumbs with albusulul cakes from two eggs. Place the mixture obtained in a cake pan with removable ends, greased in advance by pressing the bottom tray and 2/3 of the pan edges. Place cold. In mixer bowl mix cream cheese, sugar, lemon peel and vanilla at high speed. Add 5 eggs and two egg yolks, one by one, beating after each addition. Finally add the cream. Pour into pan with breadcrumb mixture cooled. Bake in oven preheated to 260 degrees C for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 120 degrees C and bake until it is done, about 50-60 minutes.Cool completely.
Garnish with whipped cream and fresh fruit if desired. We chose blueberry and strawberry cake dessert suitable for making our celebration of July 4th - Independence Day.

Mode of serving

The New York cheesecake style leave in the fridge over night and serve the next day detaching the tray edges.
